Time-Restricted Eating May Slow Cognitive Decline in Older Adults
A pilot study involving older women with overweight or obesity found that time-restricted eating, where meals are confined to a nine-hour window and no food is consumed for four hours before bed, improved cognitive function. This approach may help reduce the risk of dementia by staving off cognitive decline in later years.
